What helps a tungsten quote

  • Grade or classPure tungsten, or heavy alloy by ASTM B777 class 1 to 4. Not sure? Give the density or weight you need.
  • Magnetic or notIf the part sits near MRI, sensors or a beam, say it must be non-magnetic.
  • Material sourceSay whether the shop should buy the blank or use material you supply.
  • Tests and certsMaterial certs, density test or radiographic inspection, if your customer needs them.
